Meet the guys…

We are just a couple of guys who love Jesus, love woodworking and love talking. Click the + by our names to learn more about us!

  • Hey ya’ll! I grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania where I met my beautiful wife. After college I spent about a year and a half in my career and then took a leap of faith and went into full-time vocational ministry. After about 5 years, getting married and really feeling the burnout, my wife and I packed up everything we owned in a little UHAUL and set off for Nashville, Tn! It was after buying our first home that my love for woodworking was reignited. We had no money, I had just a few basic tools, and my wife wanted a mobile kitchen island. Being somewhat resourceful and mostly naive, I started to build a mobile kitchen island. Fast forward, 7 years, two kids, two dogs and a cat, we are back in NWPA. We were able to buy our dream property with 25 acres and we are starting a small homestead. Over the years my faith has been tested but through it all God has always been there. My love for Jesus and studying Gods word has slowly grown over the years. My prayer is that this podcast can do two things; Encourage you in your walk with The Lord and help rekindle that fire for making things in the shop.

  • I was born and raised in South Carolina.  As the son of a Clemson University graduate, there is only one team in South Carolina that matters, and they wear orange!  I was raised as a Clemson Tiger fan and also as a Southern Baptist!  After high school I joined the United States Air Force. I spent two years in Germany and then landed at Pope AFB in Fayetteville NC. In the baptist church I grew up in,  I was told to accept Jesus or burn in hell for eternity!  Needless to say I didn't want to burn in hell so I accepted Jesus....and there the story stopped!  No one told me that Jesus cared about me personally and wanted to spend time with me! No one told me I could speak to the God who created me, and that He could speak to me as well.  Since I didn't know I could have a personal relationship with Jesus, I wasn't talking to him at all.  I wasn't pursuing him for many years, but lucky for me he never stopped pursuing me! After multiple people invited me to Manna Church in Fayetteville NC, I finally accepted an invitation.  It was at Manna that I found out I could have a personal relationship with Jesus.  I also found out if I spent time in God's word and took time to pray, I could get to know Him.  Manna Church and the men's group changed my life and helped me become the man I am today.
